Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Qualified Plumber role based in Geelong, VIC. The Qualified Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on commercial and public sector construction projects, including pipework, fixtures, drainage, hot and cold water systems, and gas services where appropriately licensed. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting plans, coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, performing testing and commissioning, and ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role also involves diagnosing faults, completing accurate documentation, maintaining tools and equipment, and contributing to a clean,



safe, and efficient work site. The plumber will work as part of a site-based team, supporting project timelines and quality objectives.
Qualifications

- Relevant plumbing trade qualification, current plumbing registration/licence, and demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial construction environments.
- Strong skills in installation and maintenance of water, drainage, and sanitary plumbing systems, with the ability to read plans and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Australian plumbing standards, building codes, and occupational health and safety requirements, with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, perform testing and commissioning, and complete accurate records and compliance documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
- Positive time management, reliability, and attention to detail, with the capacity to work productively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to various sites within the Geelong and surrounding regions as required.
- Experience in large-scale commercial, education, or public sector projects and familiarity with construction site procedures is highly regarded.
