About the Role
Reporting to the National Technical Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing technical field service activities within the state, ensuring outstanding customer support, managing product evaluations and testing programs, and developing the capability of the Technical Field Service Engineer.
You will be the key technical liaison between customers, dealers, sales teams, and national product teams, providing practical solutions and expert guidance on product performance and quality matters.
About You
We're looking for a technically strong leader who enjoys developing people and solving complex engineering challenges. You will possess:
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching or mentoring small teams (ideally 1–2 direct reports).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive or heavy vehicle systems.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
- High level of customer focus and commercial awareness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
