This is an prospect for an experienced telecommunications field engineer to join CiS to undertake field surveys and provide quality & safety supervision & compliance of civil fibre builds and cable relocation projects in NSW:

- to leverage your existing telecoms and civil field expertise,
- for a self-starter with strong contractor management and communication skills, and also to
- drive quality and safety compliance with an absolute focus.

CiS is a national telecommunications field and design company contracted to key carriers and construction contractors to undertake planning, scoping & design, property & project services, construction compliance and records management. Our main location is in North Sydney supported by a national field presence.

We have a full-time, contractor or casual employee position for an experienced field engineer in NSW (Sydney based but talk to us for Newcastle or Wollongong). The role requires you to:

- have a thorough understanding of civil and telecommunications build standards,
- oversee project start up with regular internal and external contractor meetings,
- attend site visits to audit quality and safety, and
- complete online field forms and close out projets.





In addition you will need to undertake field scoping and other field work for carriers and/or constructors and be prepared to take on additional desktop national tasks as required.

So, to be successful in this role you will:

- have proven telecoms field and civil construction experience,
- be an excellent communicator and relationship-builder,
- have the right to work in Australia today,
- be absolutely committed to quality and safety,
- have demonstrable computer skills including proficiency with MS Office suite, and
- be flexible and willing to work in all weather conditions, at any time of the day or night.

The following training/accreditations are required: First Aid training (level 2), CPR training, Basic Worksite Traffic Management, Construction White Card, valid Driver's License.

You will operate onsite, from a home office and at the carrier's offices, and be able to travel if required at short notice. We hope you will have your own suitable vehicle and field equipment, although CiS may consider providing these.

We envisage the role to be full-time, but could also be as a contractor or casual employee, which includes recognition for local travel using your own vehicle.
