About the role

Longevity Health Clinic is seeking an experienced Telehealth General Practitioner to to join our growing team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver quality healthcare to patients remotely whilst maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. This role offers flexibility in how you structure your working arrangements, with the primary focus being the delivery of exceptional tele health consultations.

As a Telehealth General Practitioner, you will be instrumental in expanding access to primary care services and helping us meet the increasing demand for digital health solutions.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting comprehensive remote consultations with patients via video, telephone, and secure messaging platforms in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Taking detailed patient histories, performing appropriate clinical assessments, and formulating accurate diagnoses based on presenting symptoms and patient information
- Prescribing medications and treatments where clinically appropriate, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice standards
- Providing ongoing clinical advice and management plans to patients for acute and chronic conditions
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals and referring patients to specialists when necessary
- Ensuring patient safety and confidentiality whilst operating in a remote environment
- Staying current with clinical developments and maintaining professional development requirements




- Contributing to the continuous improvement of telehealth services and clinical protocols

What we're looking for

- Current General Practitioner registration with the Australian Medical Board (AHPRA)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a General Practitioner in Australia
- Proven experience delivering telehealth or remote consultations, or demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to digital healthcare delivery
- Strong clinical knowledge across a broad range of primary care conditions and presentations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients in a virtual setting
- Proficiency with digital platforms, electronic health records systems, and telehealth software
- Current professional indemnity insurance appropriate for telehealth practice
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high professional standards and ethical practice
- Flexibility and adaptability in managing varying patient presentations and complex cases
- Current CPD (Continuing Professional Development) compliance or commitment to maintaining registration requirements
