Who are we?

Bush Healers Environmental provides contracting services in the environmental sector, focusing on bushland weed control and revegetation works.

Prospect

We are looking for up to 8 revegetation workers to help plant natives at one of two sites:

- Gorge Road, Cudlee Creek, or
- Hindmarsh Tiers

No experience is necessary, but candidates must be physically fit and willing to work in various weather conditions. On site training will be provided in the Pottipuki planting method. See video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOB4r22yDvg

Staff can meet at the planting sites or can be picked up on the way to our revegetation sites or meet at our Strathalbyn works depot:

Gorge Road workers can be picked up from Lobethal, Woodside or Mt Barker.

Hindmarsh Tiers workers can be picked up from Mt Compass.

Special requirements

Immediate start. This is only a temporary position until the end of the Winter planting season.

All staff will be required to wear sturdy boots (steel capped is ideal) and/or gumboots and have access to wet weather gear.

Pay and conditions

Pay and conditions based on the Gardening and Landscapes Award.
