Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead for an initial 6-month contract to lead testing activities for the delivery of new insurance products. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for driving automation adoption, establishing testing frameworks and quality guardrails, and influencing stakeholders across technology and business teams.Working in a relatively greenfield automation environment, you will help build and mature the testing capability while remaining hands-on across both automated and manual testing activities. You will lead regression, smoke, functional, and sprint testing efforts, leverage AI-driven testing tools, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration to improve quality and delivery efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

- Proven experience as an End-to-End Test Lead in complex enterprise environments.

- Strong hands-on automation testing experience using Playwright (essential).

- Experience establishing testing frameworks, processes, and governance from the ground up.

- Expertise across functional, regression, smoke, and sprint testing.





- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.

- Experience working with AI-enabled testing tools and modern quality engineering practices.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to influence outcomes and work effectively across delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

- Previous experience within the Insurance or Financial Services sector will be highly preferred.

- Experience supporting the delivery of insurance products, policy administration platforms, or related business systems will be highly regarded.

- Comfortable remaining hands-on and adaptable within a transitioning automation environment.
