A Lift operator is responsible for the safe and effective operation of Lifts and the Alpine Coaster. This role requires monitoring of lift operations, assisting guests to load and unload safely, reporting any mechanical faults to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personal and maintaining the lift area. As a lift operator It is a requirement to maintain a strong level of knowledge about the resort, as to provide information to guests as required.
This is an outdoor role, that involves working in all weather conditions and is a physically demanding position expecting you to maintain a certain level of fitness to perform various tasks, efficiently and safely. As a lift operator you are expected to have a positive and proactive attitude towards all tasks, Workplace Health and Safety and personal presentation.
About the role Operating lifts and the Alpine Coaster, safely and efficiently Adhering to all lift safety guidelines and procedures Controlling the lift in response to demand and conditions Maintaining appropriate communication and effective operation of company two-way radios.
Working effectively individually and as a part of a team
Maintaining the station area and ensuring high standards of presentation and safety are met Setting up and dismantling of raceways
Maintaining a safe loading and offloading zone for users. Completing daily log sheets and company forms neatly and accurately Adhering to the advised outlined travel routes and riding at work policy and procedure Operating lifts outside of standard operating hours as required Providing tailored and superior guest service
Assisting with queue management and crowd control
Engaging in physically demanding activities such as lifting heavy objects, operating machinery and manual labour. Being available for scheduled events Skills &
