Our Toy Library is seeking a friendly person for regular volunteer hours on a Saturday morning in our not-for-profit community organisation performing a customer service role. Volunteers work with a staff member to keep the Toy Library running smoothly. Checking in and counting pieces of the toys, putting toys away on the shelves of the Toy Library with some minor toy cleaning.

When time allows, packaging toys, or typing toy labels could be undertaken. We love volunteers to show initiative in our busy environment, and you must like children to work in a Toy Library! A regular time commitment of 1-2 hours per week or fortnight is preferred but not essential.

Our location is easy to get to via tram or train and local volunteers are preferred.

Preferably 1-2 hours either weekly or fortnightly during Toy Library open hours Wednesday to Saturday, however currently we're specifically seeking volunteers for one or two hours on Thursdays 9am-10am, 10am-11am, 11am-12pm or Saturdays 9am-10am, 10am-11am, 11am-12pm or 12pm-1pm.

Training

Staff will train volunteers on loans and returns processes and procedures and in the use of the straightforward computer program.
