Hours: Either 6 AM - 2 PM or Standard Office Hours

An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations within a reliable and well-established production environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on people leader who enjoys driving production outcomes, supporting frontline teams, improving operational performance, and maintaining a strong safety culture. You will work closely with the State Manager and play a key role in ensuring production schedules, workforce planning, and operational efficiency targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations
- Coordinate production schedules and machine utilisation
- Allocate labour resources effectively across production activities
- Support and develop supervisors, team leaders and production staff
- Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with WHS, safety and company procedures
- Participate in production planning and workflow optimisation
- Collaborate with maintenance and logistics functions




- Provide operational leadership across a team of approximately 15-20 employees

About You

- Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar
- Strong people leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing production schedules and workforce planning
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
- Strong WHS and operational compliance knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coach and develop frontline leaders
- Experience within plastics, packaging, injection moulding, industrial manufacturing or similar environments highly regarded
