Job Description
As a Third-Party Risk Analyst, you’ll help strengthen the partnerships that enable TAL to deliver on its promise to customers. Working across the business, you’ll provide valuable insights that support effective risk management, informed decision-making, and strong governance of third-party relationships. By helping ensure risks are understood and managed in a consistent, transparent way, you’ll play an important role in protecting customer outcomes, supporting regulatory excellence,
and contributing to TAL’s purpose of helping Australians live a life filled with choices, options and freedoms.
In This Role You Will:
- Strengthen third party risk practices to support informed decision making and regulatory compliance.
- Analyse risk data and emerging trends to identify vulnerabilities and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide practical risk guidance that enables stakeholders to confidently manage third party relationships.
- Challenge and enhance risk assessments to improve the quality and consistency of risk outcomes.
- Identify and elevate emerging third-party risks to protect customer and business outcomes.
- Drive improvements to risk processes, controls and data quality to increase organisational resilience.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years’ experience in risk, business analysis or a related role, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment
- Understanding of risk management principles, controls and governance frameworks, with exposure to third party risk management highly regarded
- Strong analytical capability, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends and support quality reporting outcomes
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted working relationships across diverse teams
- A structured, detail-oriented approach that supports accurate, consistent and high-quality outcomes
- A proactive, curious and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn, solve problems and respond to changing priorities
