We are looking for a Registered Apprentice to commence and complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician apprenticeship, a typical 4‑year program. The apprenticeship will be based in Sydney at Woolloomooloo's Garden Island.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical components, wiring and systems
- Test and calibrate components and systems
- Examine detailed drawings or specifications to diagnose electrical faults
- Repair and diagnose faults across a wide range of electrical systems
Qualifications and Experience
- Sound literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, at heights and in confined spaces
- Hold a General Construction Induction card (White Card)

Security Clearance
A Defence security clearance NV1 is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance. Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website https://www.defence.gov.au/AGSVA/. In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible for recognition by the Australian Government. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and may affect suitability for this role.
