Classification: School Officer – Level 3 - Level 4 depending on qualifications and experience
FTE: 1.0 FTE / 74 hours per fortnight 40/46
Regular Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm

Primary Objective:
The strategic intent of this position is to provide a high level of administrative, portfolio and project management support to the Principal.
Key Duties:
Provide a high level of administrative support to the Principal, and where directed, support other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
Coordinate the Principal’s schedule and manage the Principal’s work flow in an organised and coordinated manner.
Provide a high level of communication support including the management of files, emails, correspondence and the drafting of reports.
Support the Principal in the administration of projects and compliance reporting.
Contribute to the maintenance and management of the Learning Management System and associated databases and resources.
Support the Principal and Business Manager in the administration of Human Resources Management functions.
Research and draft policy and support the Principal with the consultation processes.
Coordinate and provide administrative support to the College Advisory Board.
Undertake research and brief the Principal on relevant educational matters.
Apply for ad hoc grants to support the College.
Accompany the Principal to selected meetings, activities and events.
Support the Administration Team with the delivery of service, including Front Desk as required.
Support College events outside of regular hours where required.
Any other duties as directed by the Principal.
Selection Criteria:
Maintain a current Northern Territory Working with Children Check (Ochre Card), and provision a suitable National Police Clearance.
A demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission.
Certificate, Qualification and/or Industry Experience in the area of Finance / Business / Communications / Human Resource Management.
High level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate appropriately, effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Highly developed analytical skills.
Level of ICT literacy to undertake the responsibilities of the position.
Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to work in accordance with college, system and jurisdiction policy, processes and legislation.
