We are currently seeking an experiencedHD Mechanic to join ourWinnellie, NT branch . This is an opportunity to work within a well-established company, maintaining a diverse range of machinery and equipment across our extensive hire fleet.

Please note this is a locally based role, and FIFO applicants will not be considered.

Responsibilities/duties will include:

- Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Perform component rebuilds and major repairs as required
- Identify issues and communicate findings with your supervisor
- Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good working order
- Follow safe work practices and company procedures

About you:





To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience carrying out mechanical servicing, repairs, and fault diagnosis on heavy machinery
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift/High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
- Ability to travel and work between branches when required
- Ability to successfully complete a medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
- Previous experience working on earthmoving equipment
- Experience with CAT and Komatsu machinery
