Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information

Erina High School is a proud comprehensive High School established in 1964, part of the Erina Learning Community encompassing 5 partner primary schools ( Woodport, Brisbania, Gosford East, Chertsey and Holgate). The school has a current total enrolment of 837 students, including 80 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Erina highSchool sits is a competitive educational space with 5 Private schools in very close proximity. (CCGrammar, CC Adventist, St Eddies, St Josephs and Green Point Christian College). A diverse community from waterfront properties at Saratoga, Davistown, Greenpoint to rural properties at Holgate. A mix of low socio economic housing across Springfield, East Gosford and Erina) FOEI of 91.

Erina High School is strongly focused on being the local secondary school of choice by providing innovative, responsive curricular and co-curricular programs in a highly supported environment that promotes a culture of high expectations. Continuous improvement for all students focused on achievement through NAPLAN and the HSC is a high priority. Targets are set to increase the number of students in the top two bands in Reading and Numeracy and increasing the number of students in the top three bands in the HSC.

Specific Selection Criteria

- Approved to teach Music and VET Entertainment.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating innovative, practical and differentiated Music and VET Entertainment programs that engage students and support diverse learning needs.
- Highly developed communication, collaboration,



and organisational skills, with the capacity to build positive relationships and contribute to extra-curricular programs, productions, and whole-school initiatives.
- Knowledge of the cultural and educational needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and a commitment to improving their educational outcomes.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
