Contract Details
- Location: Mackay, QLD
- Unit: Orthopaedic Ward
- Contract Dates: 27 July 2026 – 16 August 2026
- Hours: Up to 80 hours per fortnight
- Roster: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts, as per roster
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' recent acute nursing experience
- Experience working within Orthopaedic or Surgical wards highly regarded
- Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support
- Manual & Patient Handling competency
- Infection Prevention & Control competency
- Mandatory Reporting training
- Occupational Violence Prevention / Personal Safety training
Highly Desirable
- Experience using ieMR
- Previous Queensland Health experience
- Previous Australian hospital experience
