The Role

The Financial Accountant will play a key role in managing the month-end financial process and supporting both internal and external governance requirements. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of statutory reporting across multiple regions while partnering with the broader finance team on continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage month-end processes and deliverables for the full trial balance.
- Prepare statutory accounts
- Review and reconcile the SAP General Ledger, processing journals across multiple systems.
- Coordinate and deliver internal and external audit and taxation processes, including FBT management and logbook compliance.
- Support Balance Sheet integrity through nominated reconciliations and Balance Sheet Reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and review of overseas subsidiary financial statements.




- Contribute to Financial Governance processes, including Letter of Assurance and ongoing assurance programs.
- Support business improvement initiatives to simplify and standardise reporting structures.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis support across budgeting, forecasting and chance assessments.

About You

- Actively working towards or holding a CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification.
- Experience in financial accounting or a related role.
- Systems knowledge in SAP
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to look past the obvious to identify root causes.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a flexible, "can do" approach to business, process and system complexities.
- Confident communicator, comfortable collaborating across a large, multi-region finance function.
- Reliable, conscientious and committed, with a genuine interest in the success of the business.
