About the role

Bunge is seeking a commercially minded and analytically focused Trader to join our Grain Trading team.

Working closely with senior traders and stakeholders across origination, logistics, operations, risk, finance and customers, you will support Bunge's grain trading activities across domestic and export markets. You will develop market insights, identify trading opportunities, manage day-to-day commercial execution and contribute to profitable business outcomes while operating within established risk and governance frameworks.

As your experience develops, you will be responsible for managing and trading allocated commodity books, making commercial decisions that influence profitability and market positioning and building strong supplier and customer relationships to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

- Trade allocated commodity books and support senior traders in managing positions to achieve trading, volume, margin and risk objectives
- Monitor domestic and international market drivers including supply and demand, weather, futures, basis, freight, foreign exchange and customer activity
- Identify and execute trading opportunities, making commercially sound decisions that enhance profitability and market positioning
- Prepare and maintain market analysis, supply and demand balances, pricing information, position reports and trading analytics
- Build, manage and strengthen relationships with growers, customers, brokers, logistics providers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with logistics, operations and execution teams to ensure contracts are fulfilled efficiently and effectively
- Monitor trading positions,



exposures and risk metrics while maintaining accurate contract and system records in line with governance requirements

About you

- Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Strong interest in grain markets, commodity trading, agriculture and supply chains
- High level of numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work across a diverse stakeholder group
- Commercially curious, resilient and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Strong integrity, judgement and commitment to working within risk and compliance frameworks
- Advanced skills in Excel and confidence using business systems, reporting tools and market intelligence platforms
- Exposure to commodity trading, grain accumulation, logistics, exports, risk management or agricultural supply chains will be highly regarded
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
