Overview Plant/Site: JBS Beef City Plant Location: Located 35km west of Toowoomba; part of the Beef City integrated feedlot, processing and farming facility. JBS Beef City employs more than 900 people and is recognised for producing high-quality grain-fed beef for customers across Australia and around the world. We are currently recruiting for a Trades Assistant to join our Maintenance Department Team.
The position is full time, Monday to Friday (40 hours / week), on day shift, with optional overtime on Saturdays where available.
The Trades
Assistant position is employed under the Beef City Maintenance EBA, considering classification of payment and conditions of employment. Rate of pay is $1104.11 / week (day shift). We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented,
safety-conscious and willing to contribute to a high standard of maintenance work.
Responsibilities - Follow protected work practices and procedures;
- Assist Tradesmen where required in their daily tasks throughout the plant.
- Ensure the Maintenance shed and its surrounds are kept in a clean and operational state.
- Assorted small maintenance/handyman tasks as directed.
