The Role
We’reseeking two skilled and safety-focusedElectriciansto join ourCountryMaintenance teamin Merredin. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role willberesponsible fordelivering both preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of fixed and portable machinery across our network. Based inMerredin,this role involves travel to multiple receival sites, includingWarralakin, Southern Cross, Bodallin, Muntadgin, Bruce rock,Narembeenandsurroundingareas.
Roster:7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, withadditionalhours and weekend workrequiredduring harvest season.
Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 (+ penalties & overtime) per hour based on experience. These positions are offered on a permanentbasis.
Responsibilities include
- Carryingout preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, includingelevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery
- Diagnosing and fault-finding PLC-controlled equipment, which includes elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems
- Complete basic administrative tasks that are aligned to the maintenance function
- Providing electricalassistanceto our remote receival sites in the zone
- Interpreting electrical schematics and genset powered assets About You:
Holds a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence Work at heights, confined spaces,EWPand forklift licence (desirable) Ability to work in high grain dust concentrations Experience navigating computerised maintenance systems Current hazardous area installation certification (desirable) - Fourth year Electrical Apprentices! are encouraged to apply Why work with CBH?
