ROSTER: 5:2 (residential only) or 8:6 (Residential or FIFO ex.Perth) The Processing Training Coordinator is part of the Processing Operations team and is responsible for coordinating and delivering training across the processing sites.This role involves identifying training needs, developing and delivering training materials, coordinating training activities, and assessing operator competency. The successful candidate will have strong processing experience, well-developed training capability, and relevant qualifications, with the ability to support operational teams to meet statutory and business requirements. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Coordinate and deliver training, inductions and competency assessments for processing personnel to ensure compliance with site, statutory and company requirements - Conduct Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments on fixed plant equipment, including workplace observations in both field and office environments - Maintain and review training programs, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and competency requirements to ensure all personnel remain compliant and appropriately skilled - Maintain accurate training records, reports and documentation to meet company and regulatory obligations - Monitor workforce competency and compliance, ensuring all operators meet statutory,
safety and operational standards - Work closely with all departments to support ongoing competency development and continuous improvement - Provide support to trainers and assist with additional duties as required WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining production and/or processing operations, with strong knowledge of fixed plant and heavy production equipment - Demonstrated experience in competency-based training and assessment within a mining or processing environment - Sound knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2022, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, and relevant WA mining legislation - Robust understanding of health and safety standards, codes of practice, and statutory compliance requirements - Well-developed organisational, project coordination and time management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using HSE or training management systems (such as Cintellate, Chemalert or similar) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors and management at all levels - Ability to prepare reports, maintain accurate documentation, and provide clear guidance on safety, training and compliance matters EMPLOYER QUESTIONS Your application will include the following questions:
