Are you a passionate training leader who wants your work to genuinely change lives? We're looking for a Training Manager to lead our Gympie training team, delivering high-quality, learner-centred programs that build real skills, confidence and pathways to employment for our local community.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine facilitation with program oversight, ensuring training is engaging, compliant and outcomes-focused.
About the role
As Training Manager, you'll lead a small team including a Customer Support Officer, Participant Support Officer, and LLND Trainers and Facilitator, reporting to the Regional Manager – Wide Bay.
Your responsibilities will include
- Delivering high-quality LLND training aligned to ACSF/DLSF and program requirements
- Creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments
- Leading, mentoring and supporting facilitators and trainers
- Overseeing program delivery to ensure consistency, quality and contract compliance
- Leading validation, moderation and continuous improvement processes
- Monitoring program KPIs including retention, attendance, progression and outcomes
- Building strong relationships with referral agencies, employers and community partners
- Representing the organisation at community events and industry forums
- Ensuring accurate data capture to support reporting and continuous improvement
- Supporting recruitment, performance and development within your team
About you
- Demonstrated experience in training and development leadership roles
- A track record of delivering business plan objectives
- Solid relationship-building skills with a customer service focus
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment
- Flexible, positive leadership style with strong communication and coaching skills
- Qualifications in Foundation Skills, Business or Business Administration highly regarded
Mandatory requirements
- Right to work in Australia
- Current Open Driver's Licence
- National Police Check
- Working with Children card
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
