Role Description The Training Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for coordinating training schedules, managing course logistics, and supporting trainers to deliver programs on time and to quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include organizing training materials and resources, maintaining training records and databases, and communicating with learners, trainers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of programs.
The Training
Coordinator will also assist with onboarding recent learners, tracking attendance and progress,
and gathering feedback to help improve training content and delivery. Collaboration with both VIA Education and VIA Hospitality teams will be required to align training offerings with organizational goals and industry needs.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Training Coordination, including scheduling, logistics, and maintaining training documentation.
Experience in Training & Development and Training design or delivery, with the ability to support continuous improvement of programs.
Strong Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with learners, trainers, and stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in Training and Employee Training, preferably within education, hospitality, or related sectors.
Relevant qualification in education, training, human resources, or a related field (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent) is desirable.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Proficiency with learning management systems, MS Office, and basic data reporting is beneficial.
Commitment to learner-centered service, cultural awareness, and supporting diverse student populations.
