Norseman Gold Project | FIFO from Perth

Pantoro Gold is an Australian gold producer focused on operating and growing the historic Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia. With a strong focus on safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement, we are seeking an experienced Training & Safety Co-ordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing our workforce and supporting a positive safety culture across our underground and open pit operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the WHS Manager, the Training & Safety Co-ordinator will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating training, competency management, compliance and safety initiatives across the operation. This hands on role requires a strong understanding of mining environments and the ability to work closely with operational leaders to ensure our workforce remains safe, competent and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and maintain site training and competency systems.
- Facilitate site inductions and onboarding activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory training requirements and site procedures.
- Maintain training records, matrices and competency documentation.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety systems and programs.
- Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and safety initiatives.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and observations.




- Work collaboratively with operational departments to identify training and development needs.
- Promote and champion a positive safety culture across the workforce.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
- Demonstrated experience working within mining operations.
- Strong understanding of mining safety systems, training compliance and competency management.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training management systems.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
