You may already be working as a Transport Administrator, Fleet Administrator, Logistics Coordinator, Allocator, Scheduler, Customer Service Coordinator or Service Administrator and feel ready to take the next step.
You do not need to have previously held a management title. What matters is that you understand a busy transport environment, are confident dealing with customers and drivers, and are ready to take greater ownership.
The Opportunity
You will coordinate the daily allocation and movement of a commercial vehicle fleet while acting as a central point of contact between customers, drivers, the workshop, yard and sales team.
Your responsibilities will include

- Managing fleet availability and responding to changing customer requirements.
- Preparing customer agreements, contracts and invoicing information.
- Working with drivers, the workshop and yard to keep vehicles available and moving.
- Coordinating servicing, breakdowns, damage and maintenance requirements.
- Building strong relationships with customers and supporting their ongoing fleet needs.
- Monitoring fleet utilisation and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Taking increasing ownership of the function as your experience and confidence develop.
About You
You are organised, energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day.
You will bring
- Experience in transport, logistics, fleet, vehicle hire or a similar environment.
- Robust administration and coordination skills.
- Confidence communicating with customers, drivers and tradespeople.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems.
- A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to take responsibility.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Robust attention to detail.
- A genuine desire to progress into a broader leadership position.
Experience working with commercial vehicles or transport equipment would be advantageous but is not essential. Training and support will be provided to the right person.
What’s on Offer
- A genuine opportunity to step up from an administration or coordination position.
- Greater responsibility and ownership without requiring previous management experience.
- An attractive salary package based on your experience.
- Training, support and ongoing career development.
- A key position within a growing transport-focused business.
- Recognition and reward for strong performance.
- A practical and energetic working environment.
- Long-term opportunities to progress into leadership.
This role is suited to someone who has built a solid foundation in transport, fleet or logistics administration and is now ready to prove what they can do. Apply now with your resume for a confidential discussion.
