ABM Contractors is recruiting experienced underground coal Secondary Support Operators for long-term work at Carborough.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

- $72.00 per hour for all rostered 12-hour shifts
- Annual leave paid as though you are rostered at work
- Overtime rates for additional shifts and hours worked beyond 12 hours

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for experienced Secondary Support Operators who demonstrate:

- Robust underground risk-management and safety behaviours
- Proven secondary support experience within an underground black coal mine




- Experience installing secondary strata-support systems in accordance with site requirements
- A reliable, practical and productive approach to work
- Competency operating secondary support equipment relevant to the role

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated secondary support experience within underground black coal mining
- Current Standard 11 – Underground and Surface
- Current underground coal competencies relevant to the position
- Current Coal Mine Workers’ Health Scheme medical assessment or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to complete drug and alcohol screening within 14 days before induction
- Current Australian working rights
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts

These are experienced positions and are not entry-level opportunities. Applicants must have previous underground black coal mining and secondary support experience.
