About the role

We are seeking switched-on and professional Security Officers to join the security team at a leading Australian university located in Sydney’s CBD. This is a full time patrolling role, ideal for candidates who enjoy being active on shift and engaging with people in a customer-focused environment.

This role operates Monday to Friday only, offering excellent work–life balance within a professional campus setting.

The position is paid at $29.73 per hour plus superannuation and applicable shift loadings. Shifts will be rostered between 6:00am–2:00pm or 2:00pm–10:00pm.

Key responsibilities

Conduct foot and mobile patrols across campus facilities

Maintain a visible security presence and provide customer service support

Respond to incidents, alarms and requests for assistance

Enforce site policies and safety procedures

Liaise with students, staff, visitors and contractors





Complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation

Essential requirements

Current NSW security licence

Current First aid and CPR certificate

Previous experience in a security role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
