Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team on a landmark $1B renewable energy project located near Rockhampton, Queensland. Reporting to the Civil Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising daily site activities across key civil scopes including bulk earthworks, access and internal roads, drainage, trenching, and foundations. This is a site-based role on a 2:1 DIDO/FIFO roster, offering a competitive salary package including uplift, flights, and camp accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day civil works on site, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
- Plan and allocate labour, plant, and materials, maintaining productivity and meeting program targets.
- Monitor and enforce HSE, quality, and environmental standards, including participation in risk assessments, SWMS, and site inspections.
- Manage and direct subcontractors and site crews, ensuring performance, compliance, and quality of work.
- Track progress, resolve site issues, and provide regular updates and reporting to the Civil Superintendent.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Civil Supervisor role within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
- Robust background in earthworks, roads,
drainage, or general civil construction activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage site crews, subcontractors, and plant operations.
- Solid understanding of site safety, quality, and environmental requirements within the Australian construction industry.
- A proactive, hands‑on leader with strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills.
