The Role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for assisting the team in the construction of high quality, Super, Risk, SMSF, Margin Lending, Shares and Investment SOA's.
Working with clients at all levels, you will need have had exposure to Risk, Super and Retirement with senior support available for more complex style plans.
This role will require you to take ownership of your role and be exceptionally well organised.
You will be responsible for being part of a high profile and polished team and be able to deliver high quality, top end plans.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of SOA's including risk, investment, wrap platforms and superannuation;
- Researching client investments and product
- Experience in XPlan is essential
- Assisting with investment review analysis;
- Financial modelling;
- Provision of high levels of client and technical support to the team;
- Maintain CPD points and in general keep up to date with the market and legislative changes; and
- Other duties as required.
About You
You will be currently working as an Client Service officer or Intermediate Paraplanner for at least 2 years, and have an understanding of Financial Planning strategies.
You will also need to possess the following:
- RG146 compliant with a Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent tertiary qualification would be an advantage
- At least 2 years working as a paraplanner and currently be employed within the financial planning industry
- XPlan financial planning software experience is well regarded
- High attention to detail and well organised
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent written communication skills
