Centurion is seeking a proactive and results-driven Metro EV Rigid Supervisor to lead our growing electric vehicle operations across the Perth metro region. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient coordination of daily transport activities, while maintaining high service standards and operational excellence.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the Metro Electric Vehicle HR function, overseeing both coordinators and drivers to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in managing scheduling priorities, responding to operational changes, and driving performance across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of coordinators and rigid drivers to achieve operational targets
- Oversee daily transport planning, ensuring all movements are executed efficiently and on time
- Manage and respond to last-minute changes, urgent requests, and operational disruptions
- Provide supervision and support to Metro EV Coordinators and Drivers, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met
- Collaborate closely with the Metro Semi Supervisor and other internal departments to align operations
- Work with coordinators to prioritise urgent, high-value, and time-sensitive deliveries
- Monitor fleet performance and optimise utilisation across metro routes
About You
- Proven experience supervising transport or logistics operations
- Strong understanding of the Perth metropolitan area and route planning
- Experience managing or coordinating rigid fleet operations (highly regarded)
- Ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Robust leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solutions-focused with a proactive and hands-on approach
