Civil Supervisor and Civil Leading Hand

Main Duties/Responsibilities

On the ground hands on role

Lead and assist 1-3 crews in complete civil scope

Ability to liase with the client and organise flow of work with support from admin

Liase with sub contractors to assist with delivering their scope overall

To complete site permits and SWMS for the crews

Excavate around live assets whilst completing trenching scope

Drive tip trucks to complete various tasks

Assist vac truck operator or peform pot holing to locate live services

Ability to read standard drawings provided and complete work to the specification

Ability to liase with residential personal if required

Work around water and electrical assets

To assist with on-call rostered work

Qualifications

We require candidates with a White Card and a HR truck license. Desirable qualifications include various machinery tickets and confined space entry.

Experience

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience on civil or commercial sites,



with demonstrated expertise in working on civil construction projects. You should thrive in fast-paced environments without compromising the quality of work or safety standards.

Wages

We offer competitive hourly rates ranging from $50.00 to $60.00, along with travel, on-call and living away allowances. Full time positions available for the right candidates.

You should possess a comprehensive understanding of safe work practices and be adaptable, willing to work overtime when necessary. Physical fitness and a commitment to excellence are essential qualities we seek in our team members.

DHE will provide work shirts and full personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and comfort on the job.
