Role Summary
- Location: Multiple Western Health sites
- Employment Type: Part-Time (64 hours/fortnight), Fixed Term (until June 2028)
- Salary: Nurse Practitioner Year 1/2 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
About the role:
Provide diabetes care to people living with diabetes attending Western Health at any of their campuses. This can include inpatient, outpatient and community care.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform assessment and management for people living with diabetes. This may include carers or family members
- You will be responsible for performing advanced assessments, prescribing, ordering pathology or other roles undertaken by registered Nurse Practitioners
- You will liaise with Endocrinology Medical Team, Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultants, ward nurses and allied health professionals
About you:
- You will be keen to learn and to support the team.
- You will be a Registered Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
- You are a team player
- You can travel between campuses of Western Health Network
