About the Role
PremiAir has a permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Vehicle Washer/Yardperson to join our busy team in our Darra depot.
Reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles/equipment, as well as assisting with yard operations to ensure equipment is organised, protected, and ready for customer use.
Duties The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Loading and unloading of equipment using Forklifts
- Thorough washing/cleaning of the Darra-based fleet on a daily basis
- Ensuring the wash bay and surrounding yard is kept clean and tidy
- Other appropriate duties as instructed by your immediate supervisor
- Ensure hire returns are refuelled (if required)
and entered on fuel log
Skills and Experience You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous vehicle washer/wash bay experience
- Has a valid driver’s licence
- A valid forklift licence is required
- Can work unsupervised and can follow instructions
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethic
- Works with a sense of urgency and is focused on providing the best possible service to our customers
- Has a stable work history and checkable work references
