Overview A great opportunity has opened for an experienced Venue Manager or a driven Assistant Venue Manager ready to step up and lead the Parkerville Tavern. This role offers a chance to play a key part in an exciting upcoming renovation, including a revamped outdoor area, new kids’ play space, expanded dining options, outdoor screens and improved weather protection. The Parky is a stunning heritage venue set in the hills, attracting locals, tourists, families, and social groups.

Responsibilities - Build on the venue’s strong family‑friendly reputation while bringing fresh ideas and momentum.

- Oversee the exciting refurbishment, ensuring the new outdoor area meets guests’ needs.
- Maintain a high standard of service during peak periods, including late nights and weekends.
- Prepare and control an effective roster for venue staff.
- Stocktake and investigate stock loss.
- Generate revenue‑building ideas across all aspects of the business.
- Implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully.
- Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team.
- Learn and utilize venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Deep dive into financials to analyze opportunities for growth and demonstrate P&L; understanding.




- Conduct market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area.

Qualifications - 3+ years of Venue Management experience.

- Proven experience managing a large food and beverage‑focused venue.
- Strong experience working with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills with all departments.
- Analytical ability to review reporting and financials.
- Experience creating and executing profitable promotions.
- Self‑motivated, hands‑on leadership style.
- Ability to maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak service.

Compensation & Perks - Salary $90,000 - $105,000 + Super

- Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A
