We're currently looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. Whether you're looking for additional shifts, flexibility around other commitments, or a clinic where you can continue to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you. This role would suit a Certificate II or Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse who is confident in their nursing abilities and comfortable working independently when required.

About the Role As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting both our patients and our veterinary team.

Your responsibilities will include: Assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures

Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical patients

Administering medications and treatments

Collecting samples and performing diagnostic testing





Providing nursing care for hospitalised patients

Maintaining patient records and treatment plans

Supporting clients through routine visits and more challenging situations

Managing admissions and discharges

Maintaining clinic hygiene, equipment, and treatment areas

Assisting with reception duties when required

Delivering outstanding patient care and customer service

As this is a casual role, we're looking for someone who can confidently work both as part of a team and independently when required. The ability to manage your workload, use initiative, and maintain high standards of patient care while working solo is essential.

About You

We're looking for someone who: Holds a Certificate II or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience

Is confident and capable working independently when needed

Has robust medical and surgical nursing skills

Demonstrates excellent animal handling abilities

Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues

Is organised, reliable, and proactive

Enjoys working as part of a supportive team

Brings a positive attitude and genuine passion for animal care
