The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is responsible for protecting and managing one of Australia’s most iconic coastal landscapes. We care for parks, reserves and marine environments along the Great Ocean Road, including internationally recognised visitor sites. Working closely with Traditional Owners, communities and stakeholders, we protect environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable visitation and long‑term conservation.

About the Role The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Visitor Services Team Members to help deliver exceptional visitor experiences at the world-renowned Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre.

As a frontline representative of the precinct, you'll welcome visitors from across Australia and around the world, providing information, guidance, ticketing support and exceptional customer service. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you'll play an important role in ensuring every visitor enjoys a safe, engaging and memorable experience while supporting the protection of this iconic coastal landscape.

This role offers the opportunity to work within one of Victoria's most visited tourism destinations and may, from time to time, support operations across other GORCAPA sites and visitor experiences.

What You'll Do

- Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors.
- Assist with visitor enquiries, bookings, ticketing and wayfinding across the precinct.
- Provide accurate information about attractions, local experiences, accessibility options and safety requirements.
- Support visitor flow and queue management during peak visitation periods.
- Maintain clean, welcoming and professional visitor service areas.
- Promote environmental stewardship,



cultural respect and care for Country through visitor interactions.
- Capture visitor feedback and assist with service recovery when required.
- Report operational issues, hazards or maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
- Contribute to emergency response procedures and safety initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across Visitor Services, Visitor Experience, Events and Traffic Services teams.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a positive, adaptable and service-oriented professional who enjoys engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and delivering high-quality experiences in a busy environment.

We're looking for someone who has

- Previous experience in customer service, tourism, hospitality, retail or other frontline service environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse visitors.
- A calm and professional approach when handling enquiries, challenges and high-volume periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and support colleagues when needed.
- A genuine appreciation for cultural respect, sustainability and visitor education.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods.
- Confidence assisting visitors with differing accessibility and support needs.




- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain on your feet for extended periods.

To be successful, you'll also be able to obtain or hold:
- A current Working with Children Check.
- National Police Check clearance.
- Australian working rights.
- A current Australian Driver Licence.
