Djinda Produce is Western Australia's only 100% Aboriginal-owned fresh produce supplier. With over 10 years in the market, we supply fresh fruit and vegetables to government, corporate, and retail customers across WA and are an approved supplier under the WA Government Common Use Arrangement (CUAGRO2019). About the role

You'll run our warehouse end-to-end — receiving, cold storage, on-site processing and packing, dispatch, and a team of warehouse staff and drivers. Reporting to the General Manager, you own getting every order out the door on time and in full, with the cold chain, food safety, and quarantine standards kept tight.

We're currently based at Perth Airport and moving to a new site in Canning Vale in September 2026 — you'll help plan and run that move, then set the new warehouse to the highest standard. This is a hands-on leadership role with an immediate start, and it comes with real scope: we're growing, and the warehouse is where that growth gets delivered.

What you'll do

- Run day-to-day warehouse, processing/picking/packing, and dispatch operations

- Lead and roster a team of storepersons, pickers/packers, forklift operators, and drivers

- Ensure every order is dispatched on time and in full (DIFOT)

- Keep the cold chain intact — monitor cool room and vehicle temperatures and act fast on any breach

- Carry out daily QA checks and food safety compliance (HACCP/GMP), working with our QA Coordinator

- Manage stock — receival quality checks, FIFO rotation, stocktakes, and wastage reporting





- Oversee our trucks and forklifts — pre-start checks, servicing, and utilisation

- Run the weekly toolbox meeting and manage warehouse training and inductions

- Help plan and deliver the September move to Canning Vale, and get the operation ready for major retail supply

About you

- 3+ years managing or supervising a warehouse, distribution, or operations team in FMCG or perishable goods
- A hands-on leader — you set the standard on the floor, not from the office

- Current forklift licence (LF) and WA C class driver’s licence

- Experience working under a documented food safety program

- Comfortable with early-morning starts, this role is 6am to 2pm

- Fresh produce, wholesale markets, or cold chain experience is a strong advantage; experience supplying major retailers is a bonus
