Scope:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that all warehouse activities align with company policies, safety standards, and operational goals.

The Warehouse

Manager plays a key role in inventory management, monitoring stock levels, and overseeing the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, implementing productive workflows,



and addressing any operational issues that arise. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential for ensuring smooth warehouse operations and contributing to the overall success of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage the company’s storage operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

- Manage all inbound, storage, pick, pack and outbound operations.

- Optimize warehouse space, location management and process/product flow for maximum efficiency.

- Ensure order fulfilment accuracy and on-time dispatch performance.

- Deliver warehouse KPIs including customer delivery performance, picking accuracy, inventory accuracy, safety performance, & utilisation %.

- Maintain inventory accuracy targets of >99%.

- Oversee cycle counting and annual stocktake activities.

- Lead systems for receiving, handling, and storing goods, ensuring best practices are followed and improvement initiatives in place.

- Ensure the safe operation of warehouse equipment and foster a culture of safety and accountability.

- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.

- Maintain audit readiness for customer, internal, regulatory, and external audits.

- Oversee the management of dangerous goods, ensuring correct classification, storage,



labelling, segregation, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and workplace safety procedures.

- Develop labour plans and allocate resources to meet operational and budget requirements.

- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Transport teams.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, management, and suppliers.

- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, building a skilled, versatile team.

- Facilitate regular toolbox meetings and foster clear communication & continuous improvement culture across the team.

- Lead warehouse improvement projects and cost-saving initiatives.

About you:

- At least 5 years of experience leading warehouse teams in a rapid-paced environment.

- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) compliance.

- A proven & proactive ability to lead by example, assigning tasks effectively and motivating your team.

- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and people management skills.

- Strong understanding of inventory control principles.

- Forklift operation experience with a current LF High Risk Work license (LO license is a plus).

- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is an advantage.
