About the role We’re seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our management team. This role will lead the Warehouse Team and be responsible for the end-to-end logistics, storage, and inventory accuracy of Garlo’s Pies.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys leading from the front and driving team performance.
Key responsibilities
- Management of forklift drivers, yard hands and foodservice pickers within the Warehouse Team.
- End-to-end management of finished goods within Warehouse Management System.
- Audit pallet transfer activities of forklift drivers.
- Forecasting, lead-time management and procurement of packaging and raw ingredients.
- Oversee Daily Manifest creation and pallet dispatch to customers and 3PL storage.
- Optimise pallet freezer, storage cool room, ingredient cool room and mezzanine storage capacity
- Daily operational and admin tasks
- Development of SOPs
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a warehouse role within food manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and WHS requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on leader with a proactive approach to culture, safety, and quality.
