About the Prospect
This is an exciting chance for a Warehouse Operator to join our team in Altona. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will play a key role in supporting the efficient day to day operations of the warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks
- Load and unload shipping containers
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders of fibre cement, plasterboard, metal framing, and associated accessories.
- Perform routine pre- start inspections on Forklift and equipment.
- Demonstrating a high level of safety and process compliance at all times
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
About You
- A valid LF forklift license
- Previous forklift experience a must
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Available Monday to Friday for shifts during our operating hours of 6am - 4pm
