Who We Are Looking For
Position will support and maintain the production trading of multiple clients. The role interfaces daily with the client’s Front Office Trade Management desk staff and acts as a subject‑matter expert and escalation point. The position has daily Client SLAs and must ensure the team meets internal deadlines for timely client trading. The role triages complex front‑office product and trading queries, requires familiarity with trading software and SQL, and demands excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable with order execution issues, product issues, and proficient in building relationships with trading staff.

Position interacts and provides support to numerous teams and departments—Portfolio Services, Trade Settlement, Performance, Reconciliation, and others—acting as a subject‑matter expert for Front Office. The role works with Front/Middle/Back office daily, building cooperative professional relationships and leveraging resources throughout the organization to achieve company, team, and client goals.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Oversee day‑to‑day responsibilities of the team by developing a strong risk‑management and controlled environment, eliminating risk incidents and data disclosures, leading audits, reviewing and verifying staff work daily, enforcing procedures and controls, conducting high‑level analyses, resolving work‑processing issues, and streamlining operations. Lead training, onboarding, resourcing research, resolving discrepancies, approving workflows, maintaining procedures, proactive recommendations, interfacing with senior clients, ad‑hoc reporting,
and engaging in special projects including current client onboardings and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of BAU issues across Front and Middle office, engaging teams as needed to maintain accuracy of clients’ Order Management Systems (OMS) and Middle Office IBOR record‑keeping systems.
- Collaborate with other teams to share best practices and improve capabilities before and after client migrations.
- Interact with clients regionally and globally to ensure deliverables are met and participate in weekly/monthly service review meetings.
- Manage documentation of new or updated operation controls and procedures.
- Track client feedback/requests, incorporate into FOS road‑map, and standardize solutions across clients to mitigate risk and service issues.
- Serve as a resource and lead transformation and growth initiatives.
These Skills Will Help You Succeed In This Role
- Strong front‑office expertise, experience with Charles River (CRD) and Middle Office IBOR record‑keeping systems.
- 10+ years of investment‑management operational support experience.
- Broad and in‑depth understanding of standards, methodologies, processes, systems, and technology supporting investment‑management operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client‑facing and presentation skills.
- Motivated team‑oriented individual capable of handling multiple tasks in an energetic environment.
- Ability to adapt and lead through change.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SQL coding, and accounting platforms.
- Effective communication with senior‑level clients and colleagues.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of related industry experience, including 2 years of operational trading and trading support experience.
- Knowledge of domestic and international financials and related financial trading instruments.
- Detailed understanding of Front/Middle/Back Office finance operations.
- Strong leadership and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a team of 3‑8.
- Business relationship‑building skills within and outside the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Multitasking, deadline‑oriented work capability.
- Ability to meet aggressive SLA deadlines.
- Computer proficiency: spreadsheets, databases, Python/SQL/VBA/Macro experience.
- Previous trading software experience.
