About us
Moura Multipurpose Health Service as a rural facility provides a comprehensive range of services both internal and by visiting services including: 24-hour Emergency Department, 3 Acute Inpatient Beds, 1 Aged Bed, Palliative Care, X-Ray (Nurse Licenced Operators) and Telehealth.
Visiting services include Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Chid Health, Mental Health, Social Work, Dietician, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service and Women's Health Clinics (bi-monthly).
About the role
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based care for inpatients and outpatients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate and lead clinical care by delegating and supervising nursing activities, supporting Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students, and contributing to effective patient outcomes.
- Promote quality, safety and continuous improvement by identifying and managing clinical risks, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and adhering to established clinical standards and protocols.
- Support professional development and leadership through mentoring colleagues, contributing to education and research, and providing clinical leadership to foster evidence-based practice and high-quality healthcare delivery.
About you
- Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency; previous experience in emergency and rural nursing would be advantageous.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete Advanced Life Support, Paediatrics Advanced Life Support and Emergency Triage training to support professional development.
- Proven ability to critically think in relation to planning and responding to a potentially rapidly changing environment regarding safe patient centred care.
- Proven ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
What we offer
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $10,094 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $44.06 - $56.51 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
