You will assess and identify treatment, care and support needs of participants with complex injuries and disabilities.

You will assist participants to set and achieve individual goals.

You will support participants through their treating team to maximise their independence, their participation in the community and ability to engage in meaningful activities.

You will support participants to participate in decision making and exercise choice and control.

You will deliver services for the National Injury Insurance Agency, Queensland (NIISQ Agency), within a broader operating environment that also includes the Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) and Nominal Defendant (ND) (collectively referred to as the Motor Accident Insurance Schemes Queensland or MAIS-Q).

Qualifications/Licenses





- While not mandatory, a relevant tertiary qualification in human services, allied health or a related discipline is highly regarded.
- Relevant experience in support planning, injury management, coordination of services, or statutory decision-making, including assessing the treatment, care and support needs of a person with serious injuries or disability in a CTP scheme or in another scheme (e.g. iCare, TAC, WCQ) would also be well regarded.
- Working with children and young people is a requirement of this role and an appointee must obtain and hold a Working with Children Blue/Exemption Card in Queensland. More information is available at Blue Card Services Queensland.
- Travel within Queensland is a requirement of the role to effectively deliver the care model and statutory obligations of the Agency and may require an appointee to hold a valid Queensland Open driver's license.
- Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies (identical or similar).
- Appointments are subject to criminal history checks in accordance with section 52 of the Public Sector Act 2022 .
- Prior to appointment, current and previous public sector employees are required to disclose any history of responsible disciplinary action in accordance with section 71 of the Public Sector Act 2022 .
- All employees are required to disclose any interest/s that conflict, may conflict or may be perceived to conflict with the discharge of their duties in accordance with section 89, 182 or 183 of the Public Sector Act 2022 .
