About the role The Mulch Centre is seeking a Weighbridge Operator to join our team on a part time basis Tuesday-Friday with occasional Saturday work at our facility in Moolap, VIC 3224. This is a pivotal administrative and operational support role that ensures the accurate weighing and documentation of materials along side daily operations moving through our facility. As a Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for managing the weighbridge systems, recording weights, issuing dockets, and maintaining detailed records that are essential to our business operations and compliance requirements along side making sure The Mulch Centre runs smoothly with taking mulch orders & dealing with regular customers.

This role is fundamental to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our material handling processes.

Key responsibilities

- Operate the weighbridge equipment to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials
- Record all weighing data and issue weight dockets to customers and staff
- Verify vehicle registration, load details and customer information before processing
- Ensure all transactions are recorded in the weighbridge management
- Communicate with drivers regarding weight requirements.
- Maintain a clean and secure working environment around the weighbridge area
- Assist with general administrative duties as required
- Daily administrative tasks,



including taking mulch orders and delegating & managing drivers for specific daily jobs
