About The Role Join cohealth's Refugee and Asylum Seeker Program as a Women's Health and Community Midwife, delivering culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and facilitating women’s health, midwifery and refugee health nurse services at our Fitzroy site. Please refer to the Position Description to know more about the role.

Your Duties Include

Champion accessible women’s health services for under-screened and marginalised communities

Lead community midwifery care that supports women and families through their pregnancy journey

Make a meaningful difference by coordinating health responses for newly arrived refugees and people seeking asylum What Cohealth Offers Exciting Parental leave advantages cohealth offers primary carers 14 weeks paid parental leave upon completion of only 6 months of continuous service

Our Ideal Candidate Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Midwife with AHPRA

Extensive experience in sexual and reproductive health service delivery, including clinical care and community health promotion

Extensive experience as a Midwife (minimum 5 years)

Certified Victorian Cervical Screening provider Qualified nurse immuniser

Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to provide culturally Application Process We will be conducting interviews for this role as applications are received.
