The role
We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and proactive Workday Systems Analyst to join the National People & Development team based in our Sydney office on a fixed term contract for 9 months. Reporting into the HRIS Lead based in London, you will provide dedicated Workday support to the EMEA and APAC regions partnering with the business and people and culture teams to help optimise Workday and maximise systems usage.
The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on configuration and functional support across Workday Core HCM and Absence.
- Manage day-to-day system queries, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain and update business processes, condition rules, notifications, and security configurations.
- Act as a key escalation point for more complex system issues.
- Support the Workday implementation for Australia.
- Lead design and requirements workshops with HR stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience, typically 5 years configuration experience (configuring Business Processes, Security, Reports etc) within Workday.
- Strong functional expertise in Core HCM and Absence.
- Exposure to Recruitment and Talent modules.
- Experience supporting Workday implementations and/or optimisation programmes.
- Ability to manage workload independently while working as part of a wider delivery team.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
