Our client builds marine electronics used on boards all over the world. It's niche, it's genuinely cool tech, and the team behind it is tight-knit and proud of what they make.
We're not expecting you to know anything about foiling or electronics. We're looking for someone with a good head on their shoulders who can follow instructions, learn fast, and turn their hand to whatever's needed that day. they'll teach you everything else.
What you'll be doing? No two days will look exactly the same. You might be:
- Assembling and testing electronic components
- Running the 3D printers and prepping parts
- Checking finished products for quality
- Helping keep stock and inventory on track
- Pitching in wherever the team needs a hand — including some heavy lifting as we prepare to move sites to Lonsdale
What we need from you:
- Ability to pick up new steps quickly and follow process
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable — you show up, on time, every time
- Easy to get along with and happy to muck in as part of a small team
- Comfortable chatting while you work, as long as the work still gets done
- No formal experience required — though if you've worked in manufacturing, assembly, or done any soldering or cabling before, that's a bonus.
The details: Contract length: 12 weeks, full time, 5 days a week (flexible) - potential for long term role
Location: St Marys, SA (site relocating to Lonsdale during the contract)
Pay: $33.40 - $37.00 per hour
