We're looking for a motivated and organised Yard Coordinator to join our growing team at our Hallam facility.
This is a hands-on role where you'll coordinate the day-to-day activities of our yard, ensuring products are prepared accurately, stock is well organised and deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with our Sales, Production and Operations teams to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the yard while supporting warehouse and logistics operations.
Your responsibilities will include
- Coordinating the daily movement of stock and finished goods.
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading trucks safely.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products match customer orders and specifications.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stocktakes.
- Organising the yard to ensure a clean, safe and efficient workplace.
- Operating forklifts and other yard equipment safely.
- Completing local deliveries using a company vehicle and trailer when required.
- Assisting with general warehouse and operational activities as needed.
- Working closely with the Sales and Production teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
You'll ideally have
- Current Australian Driver's License.
- Experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, dispatch or yard coordination role.
- Experience operating a forklift (Forklift License preferred).
- Experience towing a trailer (preferred but not essential).
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.
- A commitment to workplace safety.
- The ability to perform manual tasks.
- Basic computer skills for stock management and delivery documentation.
