Overview
ASPL Group is proud to partner with our client in seeking an experienced Data Remediation Support Officer to drive and coordinate technology initiatives to improve service delivery and organisational capability across multiple NT government agencies
About the Role
The Data Remediation Support Officer plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical datasets. You'll be responsible for reviewing, validating, and correcting data within established frameworks to maintain quality and consistency.
Working to agreed priorities and timelines, you'll complete data entry and validation tasks with precision and attention to detail. You'll identify and report data quality issues, helping to improve processes and uphold high standards of integrity, privacy, and security.
This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, methodical, and values collaboration in achieving team-wide data remediation goals.
Key focus areas include:
Provide operational support to the team by assisting with the accurate processing, validation and management of data.
Process data and requests within agreed timeframes, maintaining accuracy and adherence to relevant service delivery, privacy and security standards.
Undertake specific duties as directed, contributing to the productive completion of data remediation activities and the overall success of the team’s operations.
Follow defined service quality standards, standard operating procedures and work health and safety policies to maintain operational efficiency and ensure compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
Work collaboratively with team members and other work units to support effective data flow and resolve issues related to data entry, processing or system operations.
Contribute to the improvement of data entry and validation procedures, promoting consistency,
efficiency and service quality across the team.
Essential Skills and Experience
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demands while achieving required objectives.
Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume operational setting involving information, data or records processing in sectors such as policing, justice, health or similar.
Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience using standard operating procedures and undertaking quality checks in a case management, data or records environment.
Demonstrated understanding of privacy, security and records management requirements in a policing or public sector context.
Strong interpersonal and liaison skills with the ability to communicate clearly across business areas and functions, focused on achieving accurate and high-quality outcomes.
Familiarity with government records, data quality standards or basic data reporting processes.
Qualifications in IT, data management or a relevant field.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Previous experience in government, public safety or frontline services (for example, police or emergency services).
Location: Darwin, Northern Territory.
Security Clearance: National Police Clearance required including PF166
Engagement Type: 6 month contract position via ASPL Group
Daily Rate: Competitive daily rate (inclusive of GST, based on 8-hour workday)
Start Date: Immediate
