Content & Social Media Specialist (eCommerce), Mon-Fri

Seaford, VIC (on-site, showroom-based, Monday to Friday) | Full-time, 38 hours/week

Not all creators can go viral. The best ones make curtains look like the most exciting thing on the feed.

We're a Melbourne-based DTC brand reshaping how Australians buy window furnishings, custom-made and expertly crafted right here in Australia. We're on a mission to help everyday Aussies complete their DIY projects and transform their house into a home with custom-made blinds and curtains they can measure, order, and install themselves in minutes, not weeks. We don't sell window coverings. We sell taste.

Our HQ is located in Seaford, so this role is best suited to someone based in Melbourne's south-east or happy with the commute. This is a full-time, in-office role Monday to Friday.

We're growing fast, and organic social is a huge part of that story. Every room transformation, install demo, and fabric close-up is a chance to win a customer.

We're looking for a Content & Creator Specialist who can build our organic presence and our creator program from where they are today, and to make both unmistakably theirs.

About Us

5 Minute Blinds is a family-owned custom blinds and curtains business based in Seaford, Melbourne, reshaping how Australians buy window furnishings. In under three years we've become one of Australia's leading online custom window-furnishings brands, rated 4.9 stars on Google and built on 30 years of family history in the industry. Custom-made, expertly crafted right here in Australia.

We're growing fast across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Pinterest. Every room transformation, install demo, and fabric close-up is an chance to win a customer, and we need an Content and Community specialist who treats it that way.

The Role

This is a role made for someone who wants to build something exciting, not execute someone else's playbook. Strategy and direction come from our Head of Ecommerce & Acquisition, but everything downstream, the content calendar, the voice, the creator community, is yours to shape.

You'll also get a front-row seat to how performance marketing actually works.

Our Paid Media team will show you exactly what's converting and why, and you'll turn those insights into sharper content.

How You'll Make an Impact

- Obsess over organic growth. You'll own our organic presence on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest with strategy and direction from our Head of Ecommerce & Acquisition. Growth is your scoreboard, and how we get there is your call.
- Brief and film content that converts. You'll shoot from our Seaford showroom, capturing real installs, fabric and transformations, and turn performance insight from our paid media team into your next brief. Our editing and design team brings it to life, so you're always focused on what comes next.
- Help build our creator network. You'll help build and run our creator community day to day, sharing what's working, participating in collaborator calls and fostering creator relationships along the way.
- Participate in creative reviews. You'll work alongside the Paid Media team to analyse top-performing creative elements and extract replicable content ideas
- Hit real growth numbers. Follower growth, organic traffic, and creator community growth are all yours to move.

What Sets You Apart

- Proven experience with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role. Ideally at a high-growth DTC or ecommerce brand. Adjacent consumer, retail, or tech backgrounds welcome.
- You've driven real organic growth before, with numbers to prove it.
- You love a challenge with a genuine appetite for building something in its early days, rather than optimising something that already runs itself or just keeping the wheels turning.
- You've briefed and filmed viral content yourself, and ideally sourced, onboarded, or sourced and briefed creators too.
- You've supported or led a creator community, translating what's working into real creative direction.

- You analyse before filming and you think in why, not just what and you can explain why something worked and repeat it, and turn performance insights from our paid media team into real content.
- You've worked lean before and make decisions fast, you're agile and comfortable with speed, can manage multiple projects, and deliver quality under tight deadlines.

Why Join Us

- Real ownership of a fast-growing brand. Not a marketing calendar handed to you. You bring the ideas. We back them.
- A fast, outcomes-based growth path. This role is designed to grow into a leadership and strategy position, with progress tied to what you've built, not how long you've been here.
- Learn constantly with direct access to the leadership team. You'll work alongside our Paid Media team and directly with our Head of Ecommerce and Acquisition, and you'll build our biggest creator relationships alongside the team from day one.
- Visible impact. Your content and your creator community will be seen and felt across the business, and you'll watch the numbers move because of decisions you made.
- Based in our Seaford showroom, Monday to Friday. On-site role with room to structure your day around core collaboration hours. We focus on results, not desk time.
- Supportive team culture full of A-players. Our rigorous hiring ensures everyone on the team is exceptional, and we win as a team.
- Competitive pay. $85,000 to $95,000 plus super, reviewed against outcomes as you grow in the role.
- Collaborative environment. Help shape our creative approach as we expand, with knowledge sharing and zero creative politics or egos.
- Paid travel opportunities for content shoots as required.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to the following:

- In-person interview with our Head of Ecommerce & Acquisition and our Chief of Staff, diving deeper into your experience and the scope of the role (In-person, 45 min)
- Reference checks, then offer

One more thing: this role requires proof of your eligibility to work in Australia. By applying, you're confirming you've got that sorted.
