Job Description

- Delivering an excellent customer experience through the provision of routine service and maintenance to customers.
- First time resolution is essential.
- Ensure service paperwork and all appropriate documentation is accurate, completed and on time to ensure timely invoicing of customers.
- Ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures relating to operations.
- Support the Service department through compliance to the work schedule and participation in the call out roster.

Tasks

- Communicating with the customer
- Advising the customer on potential improvements
- Completing the service documentation
- Communicating with the Project Manager, Service Coordinator/s and/or Administrators.
- Installing electronic instruments and control systems
- Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring
- Maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
- Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
- Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.




- Applying knowledge of electrical and electronic principles in commissioning and maintaining systems.
- Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.

About the Candidate

- Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution and analysis skills.
- Be prepared to learn and actively deliver on an excellent customer experience for our clients.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and Certification of Gallagher and Avigilon - Desired
- Knowledge and Certification of integrated security/access systems including Tecom and Concept.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IP Networks
- Demonstrated knowledge in a range of IP CCTV systems
- A team player who professionally interacts and collaborates with colleagues at work.
- A positive "can-do" attitude, flexible and adaptable in a consistently developing environment.
- Current Driver's Licence - Essential

Experience

- At least 2 years' experience in similar position., Suitable Certified Trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience
